30 weeks

 

 

How Far Along? 30 weeks and 1 day

Baby Size: Somewhere around 16-18 inches long and around 3.5lbs!

Total Weight Gain: Somewhere around 23lbs.

Maternity Clothes: I wasn't kidding about those Target maternity jeans. I have worn them every day since I bought them. (Don't worry - I've washed them.)

Stretch Marks: None yet - but my belly is getting sensitive. It can get really itchy too.

Best moment this week: Getting to sleep in Saturday morning and spending some quality time with Ben.

Miss Anything? We're not going to think about this. We're just going to keep our eyes on the prize.

Movement: She's still my little wiggle worm. She kept me up all night Monday and Tuesday.

Food Cravings:  Ice Water, Iced Sweet Tea, Ice Cream, Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Cookies, and the Pot Roast we just ate wasn't too shabby either.

Anything making you queasy or sick: Not eating. Being stressed.

Started to show yet? No denying it now. Within the last two weeks people seem to have finally realized I'm pregnant... I get comments all the time.

Gender: Girl!

Belly Button in or out? Out. I put a Band-Aid on it before church to see if it would keep it from showing through my dress... that was a complete failure.

Wedding Rings on or off? On.

Weird Pregnancy Stuff? Still super emotional. Get overwhelmed, tired, and stressed out easily. This week was especially rough for all of this. Thursday and Friday it took an awful lot just not to dissolve into tears at any random point in time. I have no idea why, either.

I had nosebleeds multiple times this week. I'm not talking like a little bit of blood. I'm talking about walking around thinking everything is fine and then seeing blood everywhere. Gross.

I'm beyond the normal/acceptable amount of forgetful. So far, I have completely forgotten about not one, but TWO baby showers for friends. (Jeremy and Jenn, I'm so sorry! I do have presents for you guys!!!) I forgot all of my stuff for Sunday School this morning - after I had pulled it out and laid it next to everything I actually took. Heck, I forget what I'm talking about in the middle of sentences. The poor girl that works with me must think I'm nuts! She's wonderful though! I forget a word, or even what I was saying in the middle of a sentence... and she just rolls with it.

Last night, I woke up about every hour and a half having to pee like a racehorse. This morning, I woke up with a headache and a half.

It's getting hard to put on socks and shoes. I did manage to paint my toenails last night. (And random win for me: I can still stand up, bend over, and touch my toes. It's not comfortable, but I can do it!)

She's quite comfortable under my right ribs... which isn't always quite comfortable for me. She really, really likes to sit high.

Still overwhelmed by everything I need to do at work, at home (not including stuff preparing for her.), and her room. Sometimes, I get to thinking about it all and I can't breathe... but then again, it's getting kind of hard to breathe anyway.

All in all, things are getting a little uncomfortable all around.

Looking forward to: Doctors appointment is Wednesday. First baby shower is Saturday. Hoping we'll get another ultrasound soon... and her Daddy and I can't wait to hold her.
